My accompanied walks and walking adventures help you to build confidence in your ability to not only walk, but navigate, map read and learn about your environment too. Sympathetically tailored to your requirements you will improve your fitness and feeling of well being without ever being over stretched.

I have walked with Katherine on a regular basis for several years and always found her to be an excellent leader knowing exactly where we are and where the route is. She is good company on a walk and shows awareness of any member of the group who might be struggling. I would certainly recommend her as a walk leader.

I'm Katherine Grugeon and I love walking in the great British outdoors. I'm a qualified mountain leader, navigation tutor award holder with an outdoor first aid qualification and I'm fully insured to to take you walking. I've got lots of tried and tested routes, but I'm always looking for new places to walk. To find out what I've been up to check out my  blog, facebook page or instagram account.

Hadrian’s Wall   July 2016

Five day trip including the two days travelling.

I felt in competent, experienced hands from the outset. The journey up was fun and Katherine was easy company. Katherine took us to a campsite she has known and it was perfect – quiet, delightful views, all clean amenities and not far from the all important bus stop. The camping was as much fun for me as the walking.

Katherine had organised my routes – providing OS map sections for my walks each day. I walked for two days on my own and felt quite at home and confident in where I was going. The route was easy to follow, and nice to know she would be dropping me off and picking me up each day for the walks. We walked together on the second day – we kept each other going during the hot parts of the day and seemed to be on the same plane when it came to rest stops/lunch etc...and of course, the obligatory Kodak moments – of which there were many.

Hadrian’s Wall is a perfect walking tour. We were only able to walk for three days as had other commitments but would definitely like to return with Katherine. Her knowledge of the area/history/bus times etc. was appreciated and I thoroughly enjoyed her company.

Tell me where, when, what and for how many and lets see what we can achieve.
