What, Why, Who?: Image

There are lots of reasons why you should come walking with The Walking Woman. Relax and enjoy the simple pleasure of being out in the fresh air with someone to talk to about the area, to help you learn about the fauna and flora you walk past and to help you find your way safely through the countryside, be it farmland, moor or mountain.

My accompanied walks and walking adventures help you to build confidence in your ability to not only walk, but navigate, map read and learn about your environment too. Sympathetically tailored to your requirements you will improve your fitness and feeling of well being without ever being over stretched.

What, Why, Who?: About

WHY?

I have walked with Katherine on a regular basis for several years and always found her to be an excellent leader knowing exactly where we are and where the route is. She is good company on a walk and shows awareness of any member of the group who might be struggling. I would certainly recommend her as a walk leader.

What, Why, Who?: Reviews

WHO
I'm Katherine Grugeon and I love walking in the great British outdoors. I'm a qualified mountain leader and navigation tutor with an outdoor first aid qualification and I'm fully insured to to take you walking. With my Terriers Polly and Tiffin I travel around the UK to walk up hills, mountains and on moorland.  Together we have walked the Pennine way and Offa's Dyke but  equally enjoy exploring the delights of the wonderful countryside in Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset.  I've got lots of tried and tested routes, but I'm always looking for new places to walk. To find out what I've been up to check out my  blog.
